The knight possesses an upright posture with slightly curved ears pointing backwards, giving it the impression of a charging stance. This feature is rarely found in many other Staunton chess designs. The complete chess set comes with an extra pair of queens with felted bottoms. This set has a King height of 4 inches tall, is triple weighted, and has a base diameter of 1 ¾ inches. It is available in either bud rosewood or ebony wood. We highly recommend a chess board with 2.25 inch squares.
