All of our ebonized, bud rosewood look and rosewood look chess boards are veneered and finished with a reflective silk screened surface. This feature is best intended for chessmen with felted bottoms as the ultra slick surface allows for ease of maneuvering! The pieces feel as if they are “gliding” on thin air!
We also offer a flat board design in genuine bud rosewood, ebony wood, rosewood, and sheesham wood. These boards offer a robust playing surface with natural inlays and are considerable in weight! All boarders are straight edged, a feature which is becoming more popular these days!
